Traffic Police received a report from a 23 year old man who said that his Honda Wave motorbike had gone missing, after parking near Hom Bar in Chang Phuak.
Upon inspection, police discovered a similar motorbike parked just about exactly where the man had claimed he had lost his. However, the licence plate was different. They also couldn’t find the bike’s owner.
After watching CCTV footage and seeing an older man riding off on the complainant’s bike, they tracked him down, only to find out that he had mistakenly taken the victim’s bike, leaving his own parked there instead.
Both parties got their motorbikes back, but are still confused as to how the keys managed to work for both motorbikes.
