Pol.Lt. Adom Tajai, Thoen Police Case Officer, inspected the scene and found a dead body at the front of the bus. The victim’s name is Mongkol Nonklang (35). He was sitting in the front seat of the bus next to the driver.

An investigation found out the 10-wheeler truck driver, Wien Inta (41), was heading to Bangkok to pick up corn for animal feed in factories. The truck’s air brake system failed when he was driving. He parked his truck on the side of the road without any visible signals. The officials concluded that due to the dark condition on the the road, the bus driver didn’t notice the parked truck and crashed straight into it.
