Arrested Drug Dealers Say Teens and Working Class Were Best Customers

CityNews – On 8th January 2014 the Phayao Police announced the arrest of three known drug dealers in Phayao: Ronnachai Vejsuwan (28), Thanakorn Triamta (38) and Rungnapa Nantawong (23).

The police firstly arrested Ronnachai in Phayao with 110 amphetamine pills and a car. Then he confessed that he got the drugs from other people, which the police investigated. This led them to Thanakorn and Rungnapa in a house in Phayao, where they found 121 amphetamine pills and eight small bags of ice (11.54 grams). The police sequestrated their land and house in Chiang Rai, 223,000 baht in cash, a car, and three motorcycles.

The suspects said that they bought the amphetamine pills for 100 baht per pill and sold them at 300 per pill. They also bought 10 kilograms of ice at 10,000 baht a time. They used a car to deliver drugs and changed the license plate every time they did it. Most of their buyers were teenagers and the working class.
