CityNews – Monks, Chiang Mai’s army and city officials helped a disabled father and son in Mae Ai, Chiang Mai.
On June 27th, monks of Wat Padad joined together with the probince’s army and officials to help disabled 68-year-old father, San Thaiyai and 33-year-old son, Somkid Thaiyai. San has paralysis and is taken care by his son who has aphasic. The two are unable to work so they relied on help from their neighbours and retirement aid of 600 baht per month.
To help the father and son, Wat Padad monks, the army and city officials will be helping them build a house in Mae Ay on July 7th. The three groups are in the process of asking for help from neighbouring organisations.
