On the night of the 22nd May authorities in Omkoi, who had set up a temporary check point on route 1099, found a truck carrying 81 illegal immigrants.
The 81 men and women were heading towards Chiang Mai and were escorted by six men who were of Myanmar nationality.
They have all been arrested and will be prosecuted as per the law.
