Kanok Sriwichainan, Deputy Governor of Chiang Mai Province revealed that following the discovery of COVID-19 infections found in Tesco Lotus, Ruamchok branch, 11 stores have been temporality closed, including Citrus Pharmacy, Top Charoen Optical, Sabina, Gaysorn Fashion Shop, Toyota showroom, Wanchai clothing shop, BeBe phone shop, an optical shop in front of Bebe phone, Ban Krong Nam, KFC and Playland, following the confirmation of 10 new cases.
To provide measure control and protect against the spread of COVID-19 in the area, the Chiang Mai Communicable Disease Committee issued an order No. 147 / 2021 to close 11 shops for five days from 11th to 15th September 2021. The high-risk groups who were in this area from 4th to 10th September, are needed to be tested for COVID-19 and home-quarantine for 14 days.
