100,000 Marigolds for HM the Late King

CityNews – Maejo University is planting a hundred thousand marigolds in honouring HM the Late King Rama IX. The field will be open to the public this October.

Over 100,000 marigolds are being planted around the campus of Maejo university and nearby areas. According to the report on September 18th, the farm will be opened to the public in October and there will also be a demonstration and knowledge sharing aboutplanting marigolds.

The bright yellow colour of the marigold matches with His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s colour symbols. The marigolds are also recently planted along the canal road near the International Exhibition and Convention Centre.
