CityNews – AIS has offered to help customers affected by floods in the north of Thailand by setting up a 24-hour call centre and adding money to peoples phone accounts so they can call family and support services.
AIS customers who are flood victims in Nan, Payao and Chiang Rai have been provided a 24 hour hotline to an engineering team along with adding more money to top-up accounts, extending payment due-dates for pre-paid customers and cancelled any temporary suspensions on numbers that have passed their overdue payment date.
Customers who have their phone damaged by the flood are able to take their damaged phones to an AIS store and exchange it for a new phone too. AIS also donated water and money to support flood victims as well.
