Rescue teams from the Chiang Mai Provincial Administrative Organization, along with volunteers, are assisting flood victims after heavy rain caused the Mae Chaem River to overflow its banks and flood 13 villages in the subdistricts of Tha Pha, Chang Kheung, and Mae Chaem. Rescuers used boats to evacuate people trapped in hotels, resorts, and homes, moving them to safer areas.

According to the flash flood and mudslide at Ban Pang Ung, the latest report confirms that the death toll has risen to three. The victims include two Thai women and one boy. Six people remain missing, and 15 others have been injured—nine men and six women. The injured have been transported to Chom Thong Hospital and Debaratana Vejjanukula Hospital.

Residents in the affected areas have been evacuated to temporary shelters. Essential supplies such as food, clothing, drinking water, mosquito repellent, and medication are being provided. A team of doctors, nurses, and psychiatrists is actively monitoring the situation.

From the recent report, rescue workers discovered the body of a 12-year-old girl who had been reported missing earlier in the day. This brings the death toll to four. Authorities continue to search for the missing and provide assistance to victims.
