Chiang Mai University Library invites everyone to join the 29th CMU Book Fair under the theme “Read Me Up: Empowering Knowledge for the Community”, held from 25 November – 3 December 2025, 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. around the CMU Main Library.
The event aims to promote reading among students and the public, offering quality books at special prices and opportunities to meet leading authors.
Highlights include:
Over 100 booths of books, educational media, and souvenirs from Thai and international publishers.
Meet-the-Author sessions with well-known writers such as Pita Limjaroenrat, Dr. Trin Phoraksa, and Win Nimmanworawut.
Creative workshops (e.g., herbal inhalers, watercolor art, cactus planting).
High school debate competition (Nov 29) with prizes totaling 6,000 THB.
Community and eco-friendly projects, including book exchanges, boardgame donations, plastic cap collection for recycling, and single-sided paper donations.
Mini Tours @ CMU Library (daily, 11 rounds/day).
Opening Ceremony: Wednesday, 26 November 2025, 9:00 a.m. at the CMU Library Front Lawn.
