Thailand to host the Second Meeting of the APEC Policy Partnership on Women and the Economy (PPWE 2) and the Public – Private Dialogue on Women and the Economy.

The Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, by the Department of Women Affairs and Family Development, will host the Second Meeting of the APEC Policy Partnership on Women and the Economy (PPWE 2) on 16 and 18 August and the Public – Private Dialogue on Women and the Economy (PPDWE) on the 17 August. There will be presentations and exchanges of experience across different functions and sectors on enhancing women’s economic empowerment through BCG and fostering women’s full participation in business. The meeting will also discuss the preparation for Thailand’s hosting of the APEC Women and the Economy Forum (WEF): the High-Level Policy Dialogue on Women and the Economy (HLPDWE) on the 7th September 2022.
