CityNews – April 6th is a public holiday in Thailand and a day that celebrates the founding of the present Thai monarchy of the Chakri Dynasty. Members of the Royal family will lead the grand merit making ceremony to pay respect to former kings. People can also show respect by placing a garlands in front of Chakri kings’ monuments.
