Kalong Sukjui, a 56-year-old woman, is calling for accountability after her 21-year-old son was killed in a car accident involving a cow. The incident occurred when a cow suddenly ran in front of his motorcycle, causing him to fall and be struck by another vehicle.
The accident happened on the Chiang Mai – Hang Dong Outer Ring Road 3, opposite the PTT gas station, at around 7.20 pm on August 26, 2025.
Nearly a week has passed since the funeral, but the case has seen no progress. No one has been held responsible, neither the cow’s owner nor the driver who hit her son. Kalong is urging the police to expedite the investigation and deliver justice for her son.
She has actively followed up on the case, but police informed her that they have been unable to identify the driver due to poor visibility at the time of the accident, as it was dark and raining. They are still reviewing CCTV footage, but the case remains unresolved.
