CityNews – Lamphun industrial estate worker died after being sucked into a machine.
On September 4th, a rescue team responded to a report of an accident at a factory in Lamphun industrial estate. The victim was Chatchat Kaewadit, 36, who worked as a packaging worker. He was gravely injured and passed away at the hospital.
On that day he was sweeping food waste into a machine. The broom accidently got caught in the machine and he was pulled in. According to police reports, the machine was already turned off before the sweeping but it still had remaining force which led to the incident.
