CityNews – An on-duty police officer in Lampang was caught on CCTV secretly filming and capturing upskirt photos of a young student in a 7-Eleven convenience store after the footage was shared online on March 1.

According to reports, the police officer caught on the CCTV footage, identified as police Sub. Lt. Nopparat Chaiwong, saw the video and quickly confessed to his commanding officer.
The footage was from a 7-Eleven close to Lampang Rajabhat University.
Following a statement from his police division, it is claimed that Nopparat was not fully aware of his actions, and was disciplined.
Nopparat has once before been punished for ‘obscenity’ at the Lampang Police Station following a similar incident. The punishment for such a crime is a 500 baht fine.
The girl whom he was caught sexually exploiting has not pressed charges.
Nopparat is still employed and working as a duty police officer in Lampang.
