Provincial Electricity Authority officials continue to restore the power system on Nong Ho Road. They are preparing to replace electric poles along the 595-meter route, and the project is expected to take three days to complete. Power has already been restored to all affected households.
Residents remain concerned about the damage to more than 22 homes and businesses, as the car insurance related to the accident covers only 600,000 baht. They are therefore filing police reports and urging the Electricity Authority or the Chang Phueak Subdistrict Administrative Organization to assist with the repair costs.
The Superintendent of Chang Phueak Police Station reported that the driver’s blood alcohol level was 29.2 milligrams percent. While this does not meet the legal threshold for drunk driving, the driver still faces charges of reckless driving, causing property damage, and reckless driving resulting in death.
