Heavy rains have caused the Chaem River to overflow, resulting in flash floods that have inundated communities in Chang Kheng Subdistrict, Mae Chaem District. Numerous homes have been affected, along with government offices, schools, and key economic areas throughout the district.
Meanwhile, floodwaters in parts of Chang Kheng and Tha Pha Subdistricts overflow agricultural land, causing damage to crops and property. Mae Chaem District officials, together with emergency personnel, have responded to assist residents. Efforts include moving belongings to higher ground and evacuating vulnerable groups, such as the elderly, children, and people with disabilities, to safer areas.
