CityNews – The Foundation To Encourage The Potential Of Disabled Persons is based in Northern Thailand with the goal of giving wheelchairs to disabled people in need throughout Thailand, promoting their health, and giving them new opportunities.

The foundation has been around since 1993 and has since helped thousands of disabled persons. In 2000, they established the Freedom Wheelchair Workshop with the hope of helping give mobility aids to the people who most need them. Since then, in the past 17 years, over 5400 free wheelchairs have been produced and distributed in the areas around northern Thailand. FEPDP helps people with a variety of disabilities, and prides themselves on never turning down someone in need.

Most recently, the foundation was able to deliver a fully adjustable kid’s chair to a 5-year old child born with a severe birth defect, proving the dedication they have to helping others and continuing to support people with disabilities of all kids. The organisation helps people like this daily and deserves every bit of support possible to continue the charitable and selfless work it undertakes. There are always people on their waiting list in need of help.
Anyone can donate as much as they are able to. For $300 US dollars or 10,251 baht, a donor can donate a full wheelchair to someone in need.
