The flooding situation in Mae Chaem remains critical, particularly in Chang Khoeng Subdistrict and around the Mae Chaem District Office. Although water levels had receded yesterday, heavy rain in Galyani Vadhana District caused them to rise again late last night.

As of 6 a.m. on September 24, 2025, the water level was reported at 5.58 meters, while the flood warning remains at the red level.

Kriangsak Boontapuan, Mae Chaem District Chief, stated that since the morning of September 23, 2025, residents—including the sick, the elderly, and vulnerable groups—have been evacuated from at-risk areas. Emergency shelters have been established, and kitchens have been set up to prepare food for distribution. Community leaders and local administrative organizations have been urged to remain alert, as the floodwaters remain steady. Damage assessments and relief efforts are underway.
