CityNews – A Wild West-themed agricultural fair will be held in Sanpaka village in Sankamphaeng district from December 12-14.

The event, in its fourth year, is organised by the Ton Pao sub-district municipality together with Mae Jo University, which specialises in agriculture and is known as ‘the home of the cowboys’.
Activities include agricultural exhibitions, demonstrations by Mae Jo University students and the Sankamphaeng Agriculture Office, cowboy and cowgirl contests, a live concert and much more.
Campaigns will also be launched to encourage people not to burn agricultural waste, to buy hydroponic vegetables and produce organic fertiliser, to reduce chemical and insecticide use, and to follow His Majesty the King’s ‘sufficiency economy’ theory.
