Coal burner sellers across the city are celebrating as people have been flocking to buy their produce following the continued rise in gas prices.
Shops along Prapokklao Road selling coal burners some for multiple decades say that they have not had such a brisk trade in as long as they remember.
With burners going from 130 baht to 1,400 baht each, two shop owners interviewed say that most of their clients are restaurants looking to reduce running costs.
