CityNews – Thai students win the World Robot Games 2019 competition.
This year, the World Robot Games (WRG2019) was hosted by Thailand at Zeer Rangsit, Bangkok between August 30th and 31st. The event welcomed 640 candidates from eight countries including Philippines, Malaysia, Taiwan, Myanmar, Indonesia, Bhutan and Thailand.
The two Thai candidates were Ben Narkmai and Kawissara Sripattanatrakoon from Varee International School whose invention is a walking aid robot to help ageing people walk upstairs, taking home the gold medal at the event.
