Bomb Squad Called For Suspicious Bag Left Near Ton Payom Market

CityNews – Phuping Police closed a large section of Suthep Road at 9 p.m. last night, 26th May, due to a suspicious bag found on a sidewalk.

The Phuping Police Commander along with officers closed Suthep Road after a backpack was found on the side of the road near Ton Payom Market. Region 5 Police Bomb Squad were called to the scene and safely detonated the bag. After the investigation, the officials concluded that the bag belonged to a homeless person.

Note: the last suspicious bag found on Suthep road was on April 30th.
