CityNews – In the Football Yamaha League 1 at 700th Year Stadium on Saturday 29th March, Chiang Mai FC took on Saraburi FC.
In the first half Chiang Mai took the lead with a 6th minute header by new forward, Babo Mark Landdry. In the 13th minute midfielder Angello Machuca helped give Bobo his second for a 2 – 0 lead. Saraburi worked hard and Thanongsak Promdak scored for them in the 19th minute. The comeback didn’t last long and in the 45th minute Babo got his hat-trick.
Three minutes into the second half Anggello Machuca made it 4-1 from a free-kick. It was all but over, although Sarburi got a consolation goal in injury time. Chiang Mai have 9 points from 6 games, so beating Saraburi, who are third place in the league, was a great result.
