Protesters have been holding banners of complaints in front of Hang Dong District office earlier today, as they ask authorities to step in to solve the problem of overwhelming smells emanating from a nearby marijuana farm.
Villagers in Nong Kwai sub district say that for two months now they have been complaining about a five rai marijuana farm which has been releasing what many are calling unbearable smells.
“The farm is near a temple and the poor monks are suffering from this unbearable stench,” one villager told CityNews. The head of the district said he will look into the matter.
