Over 120 firefighters from region 16 Fire Fighting Unit, have checked themselves into Lanna Hospital to have their lungs and respiratory systems checked, now that the fire season has (hopefully) ended.
According to doctors, there were a few firefighters who had noticeable damage to their lungs, though at very mild levels. However, it is of concern that there was some damage done over this past fire season.
No one’s lungs or respiratory systems were found to have been severely damaged.
