Tourists Don’t Like Shops in their Doi Suthep Photos – Ministry tells Stalls to Move On

CityNews – It was reported by the Thairath newspaper on 21^st August that the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has asked 128 small stalls at Doi Suthep Temple to move to a more appropriate space after tourists complained that that stalls did not look nice when they took photos on the stairs.

12 stall owners disobeyed this order and refused to move their stall. Although the ministry has said that even though there will be further discussion with the stall owners the tourists would get what they wanted.
