CityNews – A man suffering from stage four terminal cancer murdered his girlfriend out of jealousy on November 22 after he thought she might be cheating on him.

Reenactment of the murder

Police arrested 46 year old Pracha Munnee on November 23 after his girlfriend aged 26 was found brutally murdered at her home following a confession he made to the victim’s mother.

Pracha told police that he suspected his girlfriend may be cheating on him as he found birth control pills and an unused condom in her possession. He became furious and while she was lying on the bed with her back to him, he struck her over the head with a log three times before stabbing her in the neck and finally strangling her with a nylon rope.

After the attack he fled the scene and spent the night with his ex-wife and daughter before calling the victim’s mother the next morning confessing his crime and telling her to ‘deal with the body’ before he took his daughter to school.

Police were then immediately called and they arrested Pracha while he was on his way to pick up his daughter from school. He told police that he was going to turn himself in after he said goodbye to his daughter after picking her up from school. The case is being handled by the San Kampaeng Police Station and Pracha remains in custody.
