CityNews – On 6th November it was announced that the luxury resort brand Anantara has claimed the Chedi Chiang Mai. Minor Hotel Group, Anantara’s parent company, confirmed the rebranding after recently taking over management of what is one of Chiang Mai’s most iconic hotels. The former British consulate will now be known as the Anantara Chiang Mai Resort & Spa.
The property is the 11th to bear the brand in Thailand, which includes the Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort.
