CityNews – A British man was arrested in Chiang Mai on Wednesday 6 January, on child pornorgraphy charges, after a large amount of explicit photos were found on his computer’s hard drive.
The US’s Department of Special Investigation lead police to the house of 64-year-old Fabian Frederick Blandford at his house in Wieng, Fang district.
The DSI were alerted to Blandford after the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children informed them that several child pornographic images were uploaded to the internet via Blandford’s IP address.
Police arrested Bandford at his home while his wife and child were present.
He admitted to pretending to be a kind old man, offering English lessons to children for free before abusing them and sharing the photos online.
The investigation continues.
