CityNews – Booze smuggler arrested with over 300,000 baht in smuggled goods.
On March 3rd, police investigated a resident in Muang Chiang Mai, after receiving a report regarding stores of smuggled alcohol, being held prior to delivery. At the residence in question, police found 156 bottles of alcohol, including Jack Daniels, Red Label, and Highland Queen, with a total value of 384,182 baht. An unnamed suspect who was found at the scene was arrested. Police will use this arrest to further look into the smuggler’s network.
