Charoenrit Sanguansat, governor of Chiang Mai announced on Saturday that out of the 90 people identified as having had close contact with the latest two Covid patients in Chiang Mai, 88 have been tested negative and cleared while two more are still being sought. However, the 88 are still under quarantine and monitored.
Spot checks at various entertainment venues continues nightly, said the governor, who went on to say that on Friday night 150 employees of Tawandaeng night club were tested. While there had been no report of any of the patients visiting Tawandaeng, the governor said that night time entertainment venues were possible spreading grounds and that officials will be closely monitoring them.
