A child development centre in Doi Saket has now been set up as an emergency field hospital to be used to quarantine 20 kindergarten children and teachers who have been tested positive.

According to the Covid response centre, one teacher had gone to receive their first vaccine on the 8th April, however, by the 18th of April they had fallen ill and tested positive.

Following contact tracing, it was then found that 16 children at the kindergarten had been infected, along with three teachers and caregivers. A further 120 people are believed to have been exposed and their results will be coming in later today.

Should any of the 120 parents, teachers or students test positive, they will also be taken into the field hospital for quarantine.
