Bangkok Hospital, Chiang Mai, launches the short film “Running Against Time” focusing on readiness for world-class patient transport, supporting Chiang Mai tourism

18th December 2019 – Chiang Mai: Bangkok hospital, Chiang Mai, under Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Plc. (BDMS), launched the short film “Running Against Time” to reflect inter-disciplinary medical staff working together under international standard CAMTS and CAMTS EU to transport patients both on land, water and in the air, with priority consideration to patient safety. Many Chiang Mai tourist business entrepreneurs and honour guests came to see the film in the grand meeting room of Bangkok hospital, Chiang Mai.

Dr. Srisakul Thipkamol, an expert in emergency medicine of the hospital, revealed the implication of the short film “we want to show flawless transporting critical patients from one point to the other point, which is very important. Our Bangkok hospital at Chiang Mai was accredited for this operation, as internationally known as CAMTS and CAMTS EU. We hope that the short film “Running Against Time” will make tourists and Chiang Mai residents realize the importance of urgent call so that damaged can be reduced.”

After the end of the short film, emergency and trauma center of the hospital held a workshop “Basic Life Support”, bringing modern equipment and training manikins to use with over 50 audiences. This is to develop knowledge and skill to support emergency need and increase potential in taking care visitors to Chiang Mai.

This makes the emergency center of BDMS is the second of Asia and third of the world that got 2 certificates or “Dual Accreditation.”
