ปลายปีที่ผ่านมา เรียกได้ว่าวงการอาหารในเชียงใหม่ค่อนข้างคึกคัก เมื่อมิชลินได้เปิดตัวคู่มือ ‘มิชลินไกด์’ ฉบับปี 2563 ชื่อ ‘มิชลิน ไกด์ กรุงเทพมหานคร เชียงใหม่ ภูเก็ตและพังงา’ (The Michelin Guide Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket & Phang-Nga 2020) ซึ่งเป็นฉบับแรกที่จะมาเยือนเชียงใหม่ และมอบรางวัลให้แก่เหล่าร้านอาหาร
