THE 2ND CHIANG RAI ASEAN FLOWERS FESTIVAL 2013

There will be a lot of flowers, cultural shows, and OTOP products for sale. Also, light show of “The River of Life, The Bridge of Life” for the first time in Chiang Rai!

CHIANG MAI JAZZ IN THE CITY & MUSIC FESTIVAL 2014

There will be free concerts and a lot of activities in the theme of “Fun Fair”. On 18th January, see shows from Jazz Bacanus, Del Rismo, Terdtai, Ko Mr. Saxman, Ben Chalatid. On 19th January: Hug Jazz, Kai Pannika, Kyle, Dif OC, and Tu Poptorn.

Here comes the annual winter fair held by Chiang Mai to support local products and tourism. There will be OTOP outlets, exhibitions, contests, concerts, lucky draws, and much more! The fair starts from 7 p.m. every night from now until 12th January.

BORSANG UMBRELLA FESTIVAL

The people of Bor Sang, known to visitors as “the Umbrella Village”, celebrate their traditional craft and skills with the annual Umbrella Festival. It features contests, exhibitions, a Miss Bor Sang pageant and, of course, stalls selling umbrellas made from brightly coloured sa paper and other handicrafts.

CHINESE NEW YEAR

There will be fire dragon shows, lion dances and exhibitions of kung fu fighting from Guangxi Province in China. There is also a photographic and art exhibition tracing the history of the Chinese community and the Warorot market. This will take place at Trok Lao Cho, one of the old wooden shophouses at the bottom of Tha Pae Road, adjacent to the market.

THE 5TH TRIO FOR JUSTICE
