As we enter into the hottest months here in Chiang Mai, everyone is looking for a way to escape the heat. If you find yourself desperate for a cool-down, check out these spots for some refreshing dips, thrills, and nature escapes.

Mae Sa Waterfall

For those looking for something natural, why not pop over to the Mae Sa Waterfall and escape your hot-weather woes. There is a short hike to get you nice and sweaty before you cool off in one of the eight tiers of waterfall lagoons.

Grand Canyon Waterpark

The Grand Canyon is a classic destination for locals and tourists alike. In recent years it has developed into a waterpark, complete with inflatable obstacle courses and even a wakeboarding line.
