Northern Thailand Golf Map may sound like a bit of a mouthful, but Citylife and our partners Coco Golf, with the backing of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), have created a web site, and are soon to publish a booklet, which will provide the best information for local as well as visiting golfers on playing golf and planning a golfing holiday in the north of Thailand.

Not only is our site a great easy-to-use tool to find information on all golf courses, their promotions, events, discounts, facilities and features, we also provide content such as where to dine, drink, sleep and enjoy other activities between rounds. Coco Golf contacted Citylife about a year ago because they had been operating very successfully as golf tour operators in Thailand for sixteen years, having organised many international tournaments as well as bringing thousands of golfers to our country. They proposed we join forces to create the ultimate portal and golf information web site, utilising their golf knowhow and experience as well as Citylife’s media services, to help stimulate the tourism economy during these trying times. TAT thought it was a wonderful idea and have become a sponsor of this project.

Golfers tend to spend more time in Chiang Mai than the average tourist, they also spend more money. While they play golf, their families go shopping, spa-ing, sightseeing. They also support our hotel industry as well as enjoy dining out. All in all this is good for Chiang Mai, and with an invigorated golf industry, local golfers will also benefit from increased activities and promotions.

Northern Thailand Golf Map intends to organise events and tournaments as well as offer great discounts and deals through our web site and Facebook page.

So, check us out, book mark us, fan our Facebook page and we look forward to being your golfing resource in the years to come.
