Patcharaporn Auayingsak is enjoying her retirement. After a successful career in the banking industry, she is reveling in her well-deserved leisure years, spending much of her time travelling the world with her friends. As much as she loves travelling, she says, there is no other feeling than when she finally gets home after a long trip, makes herself a fresh cup of coffee, lazes on her sofa and watches some good TV shows.

Patcharaporn says that she has never cooked, and so when it was time to design the kitchen in her dream home, she wasn’t sure what she really wanted.

“I normally buy all my food at Thanorm Phocha, a long-standing old restaurant here in Chiang Mai,” said Patcharaporn, “and all I really need the kitchen for is to store things, make coffee, watch dishes and heat food I bring home. I had no need for fancy equipment, but I still wanted a nice kitchen that I could feel at home in.”

So she turned to Boonthavorn’s ‘Absolute Kitchen’ for advice.

“They were excellent. They gave me such good advice, not selling me anything outside my price range, giving me total support and service and listening to what I wanted so that when I walk into this space it met all my needs. When I think of Boonthaorn now, I think of home.”
