Many Thais have it bad for all things Britain. The charm and tweeness of ye olde England – sipping Earl Gray while elegantly nibbling on cucumber sandwiches by the Ping or the erection of mock-Tudor edifices in the tropics – seem to be just as coveted as the harsher and punkier side of the UK, its iconic music, cutting edge fashion and sports…OK, football.
