The Chocolate Factory Chiang Mai
An historic 150 year old wooden house has been lovingly and carefully renovated and now houses one of the most charming river side dining spots – The Chocolate Factory. Serving a wide range of cuisines from western and fusion to authentic Thai, this elegant and cosy restaurant offers a light and casual indoors dining area as well as a prime sunset spot on its veranda, where diners can sip a glass of wine while watching the twilight over the Ping. Try trhe spaghetti sai-ua, which will spice up your evening, or steak lovers can order the Australian beef served with green curry and rice. The menu is truly varied, with generously portioned dishes, from starter through to dessert. And before you leave, make sure you stop off at the chocolate shop downstairs where a delightful array of over 40 bonbons are for sale, adorable boxes making perfect gifts.
