A-DENT DENTAL CLINIC
Getting your teeth done is never a fun experience. The drill whirring on your enamel, the weird tasting pink mouthwash, the inevitable drain on your bank account. If you’re anything like the Citylife staff, avoiding the dentist is a number one priority. But when a crisis strikes, which it inevitably will, you should have a dentist in mind who can sort you out as quickly and as efficiently as possible so you can go on avoiding it again like nothing ever happened.
Fortunately, most people are far more sensible, and seek dental care as a preventative measure. For peace of mind, it is important to have a regular dental clinic to go to which is professional, fairly priced, and which provides excellent service.
A-Dent is an affordable dental clinic found in the Santitam area that offers up some of the best dental care in the city. Not only are their prices very reasonable — with a focus on students and people who do not want to spend hundreds of thousands on veneers and fillings — but their staff are well trained and offer a service that would be hard to find in other clinics in town that charge a lot more.
Owner and head orthodontist Dr. Chaiyaporn Saenping, is dedicated to providing good care and attention for all his patients. Instead of hiring general dentists to join his team, he invites specialists _ such as implantologists and endodontists _ who focus on specific areas of dental health, ensuring each patient receives the best treatment possible.
The clinic is also the first and possibly the only place to import a CEREC machine into Northern Thailand, offering same-day crowns and veneers, saving you from that painful, uncomfortable week-long wait while your crowns are being made elsewhere.
The CEREC machine helps the dentist restore your teeth using 3D software that takes a digital picture of your teeth and helps convert it into a 3D virtual model that the dentist can then use to map, design and create your new crown in just one hour. With a click of a button, the machine has done all the hard work milling away at your new crown.
A ceramic block that matches your tooth shade is placed in the milling machine. About 10 to 20 minutes later, your all-ceramic, tooth-coloured restoration is finished and ready to bond in place. It’s that simple, no temporary cap required!
For Dr. Chaiyaporn, the joy of being a dentist goes beyond caring for patients and fixing teeth. “What I love about dentistry is that it involves both medical science and design,” he told Citylife. “When you are creating a new crown or giving people braces, you are re-designing their whole mouth. It’s like a piece of art and I take care to make sure my art is perfect.”
