If you would like to meet Chestnut or any of our other furry friends, please contact the Care for Dogs shelter at 084 752 5255 (English), 086 913 8701 (Thai) or contact@carefordogs.org. 06 Laughter Yoga

Laughter Yoga is a unique concept where people get together and laugh for no reason which sounds bonkers I know! There are many, many health benefits associated with laughter, for example, more oxygen in the brain which boosts energy levels and the immune system, reduced levels of cortisol in the body which reduces stress, an increase in circulation plus it provides an upper body work out and boosts creativity through playfulness. For these benefits to take place, the laughter needs to come from deep within the belly and last for about 15 mins, which is not really socially acceptable, so these laughter clubs have formed in over 70 countries worldwide, numbering over 8000 since Laughter Yoga’s humble beginnings in a Mumbai park in 1995.

Laughter Yoga sessions are at the Yoga Tree on Sundays noon-1pm.
