CMFC played the first home game against Samutprakan Custom United FC. They scored in the 78th minute of the game to win 1-0. In their second away game, they played with Gulf Saraburi FC. CMFC were down 0-1 until Panuwat equalised in the 93rd minute.

• EXPAT FOOTBALL

Warming up for their East Asia tournament in Bangkok the Farangugtans played in a hard fought mini tournament against Chiang Mai Resin’s two teams. Each team played each other twice. Results, 0-0, 1-0, 0-0, 0-1.

• AKIDO

• GOLF

Three Generations Golf Academy will be hosting a Junior Golf Tournament at Golf Avenue-Sansai (Par 3) on Sunday, April 10th starting at 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. (shotgun start). A fun day for kids and parents, all are welcome. There will be 2 divisions (4-8) and (9- 12) years old. Retired PGA Professional and world-renowned Golf Show performer, Noel Hunt, will put on a fun show at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the event, free of charge.

Also, Three-Generation Golf Academy’s Team Elite player, Chayutpol ‘Smart’ Kittirattanpaiboon, took home the first place trophy (boy’s B division) in the TGA-CAT Junior Golf Ranking (Northern Thailand) held at the challenging Chiang Rai Santiburi Country Club, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr.

• JUDO

There is judo practice at Chiang Mai University on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays 8.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. All are welcome.

• SOFTBALL

Weather permitting, softball is on every Sunday at the Payap fields. Pick-up games begin at 1:30 p.m. or as soon as there are 16 willing participants. They add to the teams as people arrive up to a maximum of 11 per side. The field can be found by the entrance to Payap University.
