Six hundred of golf’s top young players headed to the Optimist International Junior Golf Championships at PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida last month. The competition in the past has seen guys like Tiger Woods and Ernie Els grace the greens as young players. One of the players this year was Nont Panayanggool, a Grade 10 student at PTIS. With competition from all over the world, Nont did fantastically well and came 22nd out of out 106 boys. He shot 229 (76-75-78).
