The 116 Art Gallery is set in the 75-year-old Anusarn building and contains works in a huge variety of art mediums ranging from acrylic and oil paint, to graphite, pen and watercolour. Thai and international artists exhibit here and art workshops are also offered. An exhibition on the subject ‘Nature and Land’ is planned for 7th to 9th March.

DorDek Gallery is sponsored by Give2Asia and exhibits arts and crafts made by street children in a skills training project organised by The Volunteers for Children Development Foundation. Sangdee is a non-profit, contemporary visual arts space promoting the photography of well known and emerging artists. From March 1st-31st they will be holding an exhibition entitled ‘Crossing Borders’, featuring the photography of Marisa Marchitelli and Piyavit Thongsa-ard, two of Sangdee’s resident members. They will be showcasing a varied body of work depicting border issues from Thailand to Mexico. The opening reception will be held on March 1st, from 6-9 p.m.
