CityNews – A volunteer with the Forest Fire Prevention teams in Chiang Mai died yesterday when a large tree branch fell on her while she rested at the foot of a tree.
On April 19, 39-year-old Waree Sathapornpratuang was killed after a tree branch fell on her while she was resting at the foot of a tree. She was working as a volunteer with forest fire prevention teams in the Ban Mae Nam Khieo Forest, Mae Chaem.
She began volunteering three days prior.
The tree branch was damaged, calling it to fall on Waree, but it was not damaged from fire.
People tried to save her but were unsuccessful.
