Teens Who Smashed up Shop During Songkran Turn Themselves In

CityNews – A group of teens who raided and vandalised a local shop during Songkran have turned themselves in.

During the Songkran festival on April 14th, CCTV recorded a group of teens raiding a local shop in Nong Hoi by throwing stones and smashing a car parked nearby before fleeing the scene. The recording was released on social media in a bid to identify the boys.

On April 25th, nine teens visited a local police station with their parents to turn themselves in. They confessed to the crime admitting that they were drunk and mistook the shop for a rival gang’s hangout. Police charged them 1,000 baht each and then released them.
