CityNews – A rare ‘Supermoon’ total lunar eclipse had been drawing eyes to the night sky over the past two nights.

This is the first supermoon in more than three decades, and some parts of the world also witnessed a partial eclipse, though sadly Thailand didn’t.

Occurring on the night of the 27th, the full moon had an appearance of being significantly larger and brighter than usual. It was also the first supermoon eclipse since 1982, and will be the last until 2033. Supermoon eclipses have occurred just five times since 1900 (in 1910, 1928, 1946, 1964 and 1982).
