Stock Up Now: No Water in the City Tomorrow!

CityNews – July 15th, The Provincial Waterworks Authority of Chiang Mai has announced that on July 16th 2015 (tomorrow) from 10 am – 6 pm, the water supply will be turned off in order for the authorities to perform maintenance work on the wastepipe located in front of the Seven Eleven minimart in Ton Lamyai Market, Chayanont Road, Chang Moi sub-district.

The authorities have advised people in the following areas to store some water in their homes, as the tap water in the following areas will run softer or will stop running altogether during the repair. Once the tap water resumes to running as regular, it is normal for the water to first appear turbid or to contain silt.

Affected areas:
Wang Singh Kham Road, Muang Samut Road, Chang Moi Road
Tai Wang Road, Ratchawong Road, Charoenprathet Road
Praisanee Road, Kampangdin Road, Anusansunthorn Road
Wichayanon Road, Loi Kroh Road, Chaiyaphum Road
Tha Pae Road, Ragang Road, Pracha Sampan Road
Sridonchai Road, Kodchasan Road, Chang Klan Road
Bangkok Bank’s Housing Project, Imboon Housing Project
Muang Mai Market, Chiang Mai Municipality’s Office, U.S. Consulate
Ton Lamyai and Warorot Market, Provincial Electricity Authority’s Office (old)
Saen Fang Temple, Chaisriphum Temple, Nakorn Ping Hospital, and the Night Bazaar

…pretty much the entire city. So make sure you are prepared.
